LOCAL SIGNING SERVICE - BISS
BISS (Browser Independent Signing Service) is a software for signing with Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) when performing operations in an Internet browser.
BISS uses a technology that allows local electronic signing without using an active component. A great advantage when using BISS is independence from the used browser and its limitations or inability to support Java applets or ActiveX controls.
BISS provides operation with QES certificates for all popular browsers under MS Windows 8, MS Windows 10, Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, macOS 10.15 Catalina operating systems. Operates every time you use the private key of the QPS certificate, located on a smart card.
BISS uses the Microsoft CryptoAPI or PKCS11 library for access to the smart card.
In order to use BISS, it is necessary to pre-install the service as an application to the workstation where signing will take place - administrative rights are required.
